It was so windy all day today (according to wunderground.com max wind speed was 24 mph with max gusts at 44mph). I had the table set for dinner and food ready to go on when John walked in the door and told everyone to grab a coat, a kite and report to the van. We did not fly kites long as it was quite cold and it was dinnertime. But I love living in a family that enjoys spontaneity!  Rebekah has always loved flying kites, so she was thrilled and it was probably a first for Elijah.  (We were at Kite Hill which is also our sledding hill).
