8 going on 18

I was amazed one afternoon at lunch when the kids ate the entire loaf of fresh homemade bread and the soup I fixed them. As I expressed this, Tina says, "Your kids are growing up, Mom" and turns to look at me and this is what I saw.

Lots of blue eye shadow.

I guess somebody thinks she is grown up already! Yikes! (This get-up was actually part of a lunchtime theater entertainment they had devised, because apparently just sitting and eating is WAY too boring).

Crafty

Some bloggers post about all the lovely crafty things they make and do. I am not one of them. I might blog about my clean basement (if it ever becomes so) as that is far greater than a craft in my eyes. And requires more perseverance too! But crafts don't happen by my hands.

Rebekah on the other hand may have a blog dedicated to crafting in her future. But until she has her own blog and copyrights all her pictures, I'm going to feature her lastest projects. (They're Christmas presents for friends and cousins, so SHHHH)

Not bad for a 9 year old!

Boys!

Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him. Psalm 127:3

If you want to know...

what makes Christina happy, I'll show you.

These pictures were taken during a one-week dance camp for which she had her hair fixed in a new style and chose a different dance outfit every day. And she got to dance. Can't get much better than that for Christina.

Future Portfolio?

When I uploaded my pictures the other night, I found this series of pictures which I had not seen before. It made me smile... and maybe worry a little bit. We're just playing here, right?
