Some more finds from one of our walks:

This little guy was on the underside of the leaf. With the light shining from above it gives the funny look that he is photoshopped into the picture. But he was really there happily eating and oblivious to me.

Apparently unknown to us some birds had made a nest in our gutter. We didn't discover the nest until we heard a lot of commotion and noise. We looked out the window and there were babies learning to fly and they would fly down to our window sill and catch their breath and summon all their courage before they took off again to a nearby tree. They were good little fliers and this was the best picture I got though I tried several times.

Church picnic today and it turned out kind of rainy and cold.

Wanted to capture how big the bench was compared to how small he is. Also, him swinging his leg. Couldn't really do it well, but he is smiling and that's something.

We finally were able to get our garden planted. We needed to wait until the tree work was all finished. Now that it's done we are hoping a little more sunlight will help the plants produce better. Taryn found a friend while we were working:

Picked Tina up tonight and we met at the American Girl store in Atlanta. Tina had been saving up her money to buy a new doll. It was a tough choice between Isabelle, the girl of the year, who is pretty much Tina in real life (dancer, designer, etc.) or a Just Like Me doll. She ended up choosing the Just Like Me doll, based mostly on the clothes she came in. Also, paid the extra to get pierced ears. She's a happy girl. And the doll's name is Michelle.

The boys had fun too! They weren't stuck in the American Girl store all night.

Great day for a Mother's Day picnic. Met my sister and her boys and my parents at a park in Suwanee. Yummy food, great company, pretty setting:
